Stunning C.S. Kline Atlanta Clown Face 3 Gallon Churn
This is just a stunning marked three gallon C.S. Kline ( 1854-1917 ) Howells .Mills GA. and the stamp is very strong, and with a great cobalt clown decoration. Circa 1883-1886 This is a highly sought after example due to decoration, stamp and age and condition. This is a fresh to the market jar from a local collection. Great detail in the cobalt decorations with a nice salt glaze that shows for a great back ground. The condition is very good for age and use has some minor glaze flaking and one chip in the inside lip, and a small stress line that is two inches and is very tight, done in the drying process. No cracks or repairs or major chips. Overall a striking example and will make a great addition in any collection or museum. Standing 11" Tall
