Reclining Nude Figurative Sculpture by Attila Tivadar
A compelling reclining nude sculpture by San Francisco artist Attila Tivadar, crafted in plaster with a hand-applied silver metallic finish. This figurative work captures a female form in a contemplative pose, with stylized, muscular anatomy and a dynamic, expressive composition. The surface displays intentional textural variation, enhancing the emotional depth of the piece.
Though cast in plaster, the metallic coating gives the sculpture a bold, sculptural presence reminiscent of cast metal. One foot reveals the underlying plaster and armature, adding to the raw, unfinished aesthetic of the work. Signed by the artist on the underside.
Dimensions: Approx. 12 inches in length/high x 4.25 inches wide x 6.50 inches deep.
Medium: Plaster with metallic silver finish.
Condition: Visible wear, oxidation on surface, and a break at one foot revealing inner structure (see photos).
