IKENGA FIGURE, IGBO CULTURE
Height 15.25 inches. Some wear and minor loss. The statue was usually commissioned when a young man move into his own home, it was considered a house protective statue and consulted before undertaking a new enterprise and or making important decisions. Horns curving backwards is a sign of having the ability and strength to release and letting go of unnecessary pressure, stress and self imposed limiting thoughts.
