Signed on the base MIGUEL BUGARINI, who lives in Casas Grandes - Mata Ortiz, Oaxaca, Mexico area - the home of it all for the Mata Ortiz renaissance on pottery. His highly desirable earthenware pots are produced using the traditional clay with polychrome paint glaze produced at Casas Grandes and Mata Ortiz for centuries. This olla or traditional form of vessel, is patterned with geometric designs. Measures 12.5" x 9.25" in dia. Weighs 5 lbs 7 oz. Includes wooden stand.
