Original Oil of Canvas Large Cat Portrait "Mr. B" by Charles Kello (1942-2014). Professionally framed. In frame measures 54"x1.75"x39". Weight 21 lbs. Throughout his career, Kello painted landscapes, seascapes, still-lifes, florals and portraits. Born Aug. 19, 1942, in Norfolk, Virginia, he began his career in painting at the age of nine, according to his father , Charles Kello, Jr. and worked for several years in the family-owned sign painting business. He was a prolific painter, adept at using watercolors, graphite and several other media and produced more than 8,000 works during his lifetime and continued painting until a few days before his death.
