Three Native American Pueblo Decorated bowls

The two clay bowls are hand-painted with Native American designs in various colors. The larger of the two clay bowls is not marked, while the smaller piece is marked P. Romero Jemez. The larger measures H 3.25 W 4 inches while the smaller measures H 1.75 D 2.5 inches. Both are in good condition with some loss to the paint on the larger bowl.

The mid-sized bowl is etched rather than painted and glazed to leave a gloss finish. This piece Is marked Reycita Santa Clara Pueblo and has the original price tag. It measures H 2 W 2.5 inches and is in good condition.

Pauline Romero 1962 -  is a diverse and award-winning potter from Jemez Pueblo celebrated for her graceful, refined lined works. As a teenager, Pauline began learning the traditional Jemez Pueblo methods of pottery making from her grandmother as well as from her mother. Although Pauline has carved out her own niche as a contemporary pueblo potter with her uniquely stylized works, she still incorporates the same design motifs her mentors taught her years ago in her works today.

Reycita Naranjo 1926 - 2003 is known for her carved pottery. She had been an award winner at Santa Fe Indian Market since 1981. She had been featured in numerous publications as well.
