19th Century French Bronze Eugene Laurent Sculpture
A stunning 19th-century French-style bronze sculpture depicting a man, a woman, and a dog with a Hermes bust in the center. The man appears to be whispering to the Hermes bust while the woman listens from the opposite side of the bust. The dog is at the man's feet facing outwards. Near the woman's feet, E. Laurent is carved into the base. Measuring H 17 W 12
Condition: good condition with some discoloration to the metal in various places.
Eugene Laurent -Paris, 1832 - 1898 was a French sculptor and a regular participant in the Salon of French Artists.
