Antique crazy quilt patchwork robe. Measure 45 inches from top of collar to bottom hem, 17 inches across shoulders, and 17 inch long sleeves. Mostly silks with red satin lining and edges to the opening and sleeve cuffs. Construction of the garment is by hand and machine. Has three pairs of button-and-loop closures. In fair condition with several silks shattering. This item was part of Laura Fisher's estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.
