Vintage c1940 Spider Web Tied Quilt or Comfort 45x76''. It is comprised entirely of diamonds with string pieced narrow strips of dress rayons, cottons, and fabrics with black velvet through the center. The arrangement creates the spider web designs. The quilt is hand and machine pieced and hand tied blue perl cotton thread at the center, there is no batting and a glazed cotton chinoiserie backing. The workmanship is primitive but charming. In very good condition. Has a slight musty odor If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
