Antique c1890 Broken Dishes Quilt measuring 80 by 80 inches. It is comprised of 961 half square triangles, about 2 by 2 inches, set straight, 31 by 31, with a 2 inch chrome yellow print inner border and 8 inch solid red outer border. There is thin cotton batting and a claret zigzag stripe print reverse. The edge is finished knife edge style, by machine. It is hand and machine pieced, hand quilted. It is in good condition with a few small spots and discolorations. Great fabric library of late 19th century prints. From the estate of Sharon Stark, noted Pennsylvania textile dealer and award winning author. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance.
