Antique Red and White Applique Quilt measuring 77 by 77 inches. Medallion style quilt with a Hawaiian appliqué style motif in the center, 42 by 42 inches. It is surrounded by a 3 inch wide red swag motif frame, a 2 inch solid white frame, a 2 inch solid red frame, and a frame of 11 inch red appliqué blocks in the outer border. It is hand pieced, hand appliquéd, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse the edge is finished with a red bias tape binding, by machine, possibly a replacement. It is in fair condition with a few small spots fading, split seam in a corner, and a separation in another corner from the binding. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
