1844 Figure and Fancy Coverlet - Red
1844 Figure and Fancy Coverlet. It measures 91 by 100 inches. Red and white medallion center surrounded by flowers and leaves with a geometric scroll and dot outer border and a vine inner border. Marked 1844 in each corner. A blue and white version of this coverlet is in the Smithsonian and is identified as having been made in Syracuse, New York. It has a center seam. which has started to separate on one side. In good condition with some stains near the seam and some small spots. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
