An album containing 170 photographs documenting settlement and pioneers in the land of Israel. Years: 1946-1949.
An interesting album that includes a wide range of photographs from the life of Israel in the years before the establishment of the state, and in its first year. Among other, there are various photographs of youth movement members working with the movement's emblem and their slogan: 'For Work, Defense, and Peace' - among them a photograph of Ben-Gurion on a visit to the movement's branch (at the end of the album a page with a list of expenses for items that bought), a group of photographs from a ceremony First Independence Eyar 5, 1949, youth sports competitions, ground work, youth movement, social activities, military parades, raising the Israeli flag on various occasions, and more.
An album with a copper relief of worshipers at the Western Wall 34x25 cm. Most of the photos size: 9x7 cm. The album pages are protected with fragment paper. general condition good.
