Der Ael Teste Der Juden In Litzmannstadt. Ticket #170101 With a number table giving the right to receive daily bread in the Lodz ghetto for a period of 60 days. The ticket belonged to a Jewish resident of the ghetto named Chajim kirshenberg, Born in 1906, A resident of Lodz from before the war . The details were added on: 3/5/1941. It was used only 18 times. Kirschenberg's name and details appear in the database of names in Yad Vashem, according to there records he was transferred to Majdanek during the war and murdered in the Holocaust. On the card is a "Gestorben" - "deceased" ink stamp.
Underneath the lines with the ticket holder's name, there are German instructions regarding the way to receive the bread along with the punishment meted out to people who did not follow these regulations.
