Antisemitic ashtray, 20th century
Antisemitic ashtray. In the center is a mohel who invites the frightened baby, and hides behind his back the Grotesque scissors he intends to make him a Brit Milah. And the antisemitic caption: "THE CLIP JOINT" describing the 'cutting' scene.
Similar antisemitic works are known, especially in Eastern countries, which depicted the mohel with large, disproportionate scissors in his hands in front of the so-called helpless baby (needless to say, circumcision was never done in such "scissors").
Size: diameter: 13 cm. Slight fracture with missing in the back of the ashtray. Good condition.
