Collection of Jewish coins from Morocco. the 19th century
21 Jewish copper and bronze coins that were used in the Jewish community in pre-colonial Morocco, the period of Muhammad IV, and in the period of Hassan bin Muhammad - the 19th century.
On the front of each coin is a Star of David, on the back, a detail of the year according to the Hajra count (counting the years of Muhammad's birth). Appear among others, coins from the years appear: 1263 (1846), 1288 (1871), 1285 (1876), and others.
The coins were recently brought from Fès, Morocco.
Variable diameter: 20 mm - 20.8 mm. In some coins time stains, and corrosion. general condition good.
