A propaganda report for disclosure Poland's crimes against the German population before World War II -The copy of war criminal Jacob Reimer, Berlin 1940

LES ATROCITES COMMISES PAR LES POLONAIS CONTRE LES ALLEMANDS DE POLOGNE - Document rédigé par Hans Schadewaldt et publié sur l'ordre du Ministère des Affaires étrangères du Reich, avec pièces authentiques à l'appui - 'The atrocities committed by the Poles against the Germans of Poland - a document prepared by Hans Schadwaldt and published by order of the Reich Foreign Ministry, with authentic supporting documents'. Berlin 1940. A propaganda report by the German Reich government, intended to justify the German invasion of Poland, severely showing Polish crimes against the Germans on the eve of the war, accompanied by dozens of harsh photographs of Germans brutally tortured and murdered by Poles, as well as numerous documents. The report was intended to train world public opinion, and German itself, and to justify in its eyes the crimes of the Germans themselves in Poland who allegedly came as revenge, and as self-defense for what the Poles had done to them on the eve of the war. German. The copy of the Nazi war criminal - Soviet Jacob Reimer, with his signature on the title page "Jacob Reimer 1942".

A detailed and unknown historical report on the crimes committed by the Polish nation against the Germans, shortly before the outbreak of World War II, inspired by the ancient hatred that appears in the Polish heritage against Germany. Published by the German Foreign Ministry in order to justify the German invasion of Poland and the Nazi cruelty against the Poles. For this purpose, the Nazi propaganda ministry recruited the German physician and historian Hans Schadbladet. The report argues at length that the cruelty used by the Poles against the Germans on the eve of the war is deeply ingrained in the philosophical teachings of Polish opinion makers. To this end, he opens with official quotations from Polish sources that have fueled hatred against the German nation since the 19th century, and incited the Polish masses to murder Germans wherever they are. The first edition of the report was published on November 17, 1939, and this is the second and expanded edition which came out in 1940. At the beginning of this edition there is a report that 5437 murders of German men, women, and children were committed by Polish citizens. The report states that by the time it is published, 12,857 people and another 45,000 missing people should be added to the list of German murdered, and it reads: "This frightening list of casualties that suffered the German minority is still far from complete. There is no doubt that the ongoing search will reveal thousands more dead and missing. The description of the Polish atrocities described below includes not only cases of murder and vandalism, but also other acts of violence, abuse, rape, robbery and looting. However these are just a small part of the facts whose details are based on irrefutable evidence that is officially presented". Along with dozens of documents presented in the report, the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs included dozens of pages in its second part with about 80 photographs very difficult  to view, showing the bodies of German prisoners with severe torture in all parts of their bodies, and living Germans captured by Poles and tortured. Horrifying and shocking close-up photographs of body parts Performed a post-mortem on them appear in order to shock the reader (We did not take the hardest photos in the catalog), all with the aim of justifying Nazi cruelty to the Poles in their invasion of Poland, as if it came as an act of revenge for the Poles' own abuse of the Germans. The report also includes numerous testimonies of German citizens appearing in their names and telling the difficult stories, how they or their family members were captured by the Poles, tortured, and murdered, as well as mass massacres carried out in various places against the Germans in Poland, as well as reports in the Nazi press about the "Crimes of the Poles." On the last page is a synoptic map describing the cities and sites where the crimes of the Poles were committed.

Jacob Reimer [1918-2005]. Born in Ukraine. In 1940 Reimer was drafted into the Soviet army. When Germany invaded the Soviet Union on June 22, 1941, Reimer was involved in the fighting and was captured by German forces on July 6. Two months later, due to his ethnic German heritage and language skills, he was drafted into Trawniki concentration camp for training as a camp guard. During his service as a camp guard, Reimer participated in the liquidation of Jewish ghettos in Poland, in addition to administrative and office duties. On one occasion, Reimer fired a shot into a pit full of corpses in front of one living civilian, which would later turn out to be a key piece of evidence in the trials held against him in the US. In 1944 he was awarded the War Merit for his service, and in 1945 he was promoted to the top guard of the SS. In 1944, Reimer received German citizenship after Adolf Hitler made all ethnic German military and police personnel eligible for German citizenship.

After the war, as part of his efforts to hide, in 1952 Reimer applied for a visa to the United States, and for years he was considered a United States citizen for all intents and purposes. During his time in the US he worked as a potato snack seller and a retired restaurant manager who lived and resided for years in the city of Brooklyn, New York without arousing any suspicion of his dubious past. In 1980 Reimer was arrested and first questioned by the US authorities in connection with the John Damianuk case, but little progress was made towards His identification was achieved during this initial investigation. The Office of Special Investigations of the United States Department of Justice worked for decades to prosecute Reimer and deny him his American citizenship, but he eventually died on American soil in 2005, before being deported to Germany. About his story the book was written: " Citizen 865: The Hunt for Hitler's Hidden Soldiers in America" by Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist Debbie Zanziffer.
