The Oriental World By Rev. T. DeWitt Talmage, a book of a journey follow the holy places, and the people of the various religions in palestine and the Near East, accompanied by over 200 photographs, and over 200 images of works of art by the greatest European artists in the Eastern world. .J.H. MOORE & CO. Chicago and Philadelphia, 1897 - Rare Source edition released before the book itself was published in print - with the original advertisement page for the book, Blank draft pages bound at the end, and the publishers' suggestions page, explaining that the book should be published with gilding on the back cover Because the author's plan was that the book would be bound next to the Bible by those who purchased it. As well as a recommendation to the author regarding the preferred cover, the one that appears on the front of the book or the one that appears at the end. Throughout the book, pages were pasted by the publisher [which did not appear in the print editions] with a description of the filmed scene and a recommendation for the book (apparently used by the author to choose which one he would like to use as an advertisement for the book).
