Two newspaper issues in Israel reporting the death of King George VI, and declaring Elizabeth as Queen of England.
- Ma'ariv newspaper issue of February 6, 1952. Headline: "King of England dies, Princess Elizabeth - Queen", subtitle: "George VI, King of England died this morning. His eldest daughter, Princess Elizabeth, 26 years old, will reign under him. The king died in his 56th year, after a severe and prolonged illness... the new queen, Princess Elizabeth, was found at that time in a hunting field in Nayari, Kenya. She was informed of her father's death - and she will return to England today...". 4 pages. complete sheet. fold marks. stains. Good condition.
