"Albert Einstein The Genius of Physics" by mathematician and astronomer Dr. Willem Johannes Adriaan Schouten. "For a moment, the world holds its breath... One of the great ones left us. Albert Einstein died on April 18, 1955. Last Sunday, he was admitted to the hospital in Princeton, New Jersey... It is difficult to express the influence of this scholar on the thinking of our century...". An entire magazine dedicated to Albert Einstein, the man and scientist, and to his historical part in the chain of the world's greatest scientists, as the writer calls him "Newton's counterpart". The article deals with Einstein's breakthrough in physical science - the curve of light, and the theory of relativity, in his personal life - his parents and family, an extensive review of his childhood years, his special character ("although he was friendly and cheerful, he was always the lone scholar"), his political opinions and attitude to the war, his attitude towards his students and the manner in which he delivered his lectures, his escape from Germany and his arrival in America, and more.
