The first issue of the prestigious monthly magazine WISDOM, with a photo of Albert Einstein on the cover and a feature article about Einstein

The first issue of the monthly magazine WISDOM THE MAGAZINE OF KNOWLEDGE FOR ALL AMERICA - California, January 1956. On the cover is a photograph of Einstein and an article about Albert Einstein titled "A Man Named Einstein" by George Herrison dealing with Einstein's immense contribution to humanity, and another article published here written by Einstein himself on one occasion about the path to happiness in life, free choice, the value of democracy, and human thought.

This is the first issue of the magazine "WISDOM" which was published for a relatively short period, choosing to place Albert Einstein who passed away a few months prior to its publication at the center of focus when discussing "wisdom". On the cover is a photograph of Einstein taken by one of the most famous portrait photographers of his time, Joseph Karsh from Canada, the cover was designed by John Wontworth.

In his illuminating article about Einstein, George Herrison describes Einstein's amazing personality and the contribution he made to humanity in all the professional fields he dealt with, also writing about his personality while emphasizing the great fondness Einstein had from all around him due to his pleasant personality and modesty, and the unique combination of his genius and modesty. He expands to describe Einstein's influence on scientists who worked close to him, and the breakthrough he brought to the scientific world with the publication of the theory of relativity, and more.

The magazine WISDOM THE MAGAZINE OF KNOWLEDGE FOR ALL AMERICA was published by Crowell-Collier Publishing Company from January to December 1956, edited by Leon Gutterman, former editor of Collier's Weekly. The magazine presented articles on a variety of topics, including science, history, current events and arts. It also published literature and poetry. Among the people it dealt with were Isaac Asimov, Albert Einstein, Aldous Huxley, Ernest Hemingway, and others. It was one of the first magazines to make scientific and cultural knowledge accessible to a wide audience. The magazine was only published for one year.
