41st Betar Battalion - Early Photographs from the 1929 Betar Conference and Other Documents
Collection of documents of a soldier named Elkana Gasser who served in the Betar 41st Battalion. Eretz Israel, 1920s.
Among:
* A rare photograph seen in the center of the photo Ze'ev Jabotinsky and behind him are Betar Battalion 41 activists in Palestine.
* A photograph of members of the Betar movement in Eretz Israel, handwritten in the back: "Memorial of the Trumpeldor Alliance in Eretz Israel, 41st Battalion, Tel Aviv, Saturday the 5th of Sivan 1938".
* A group photograph of Elkana Gasser - a soldier in the 41st Battalion of Betar. Behind a handwritten dedication: 'To my dear friends Elkanah Gasser for an everlasting souvenir by Haim Vishnovsky'.
* Other photographs, including a sniper at a shootout during the War of Independence 1948, Gasser friends, his place of work - Oxhorn Chamber - Eretz Israel, an interesting photograph from a ceremony of the Betar movement's graduates, a certificate of his membership in the Keren Hayesod, family letters from various eras, and more.
