WWI GERMAN TRENCH ART
A nice piece of German WWI trench art, a carved wooden case containing a hidden mirror, possibly used as a shaving mirror while in the field on the Eastern Front. Engraved are the owner's initials 'GR' on the front of the case, the reverse reading 'Russland 1915- 1918.' with two hammers in a square. The case has an indentation to lift up the cover, revealing a mirror, approx. 2.5 x 4.5 inches. Very good.
