40 PHOTOGRAPHS 1936 OLYMPIC GAMES BERLIN
40 original b/w photographs of the 1936 Olympic Games Berlin. This collection includes a large panoramic b/w photograph 'No.8 Inaugural Ceremony in the Olympic Stadium on August 1, 1936' published by 'Photo Copie GmbH, Berlin' with the mailing tube, very slight discoloration on the right edge for 3 in. and a slight 1.5 in. vertical crease on the left; an original 'Stengel' envelope with 8 b/w photographs with views of the Reichssportfield and Berlin, 3.5 x 2.375 in., scalloped edges; 21 b/w photographs with views of the Reichssportfield in Berlin, 3.5 x 2.375 in., with envelope; and a small souvenir album 'XI. Olympiade Berlin 1936', containing 10 b/s photographs of sights in Berlin, photos are 3.5 x 2.75 in., album measures 4.375 x 3.375 in. Fine collection.
