Original German World War II poster 'Hitler the Liberator' written in Russian underneath a painted 3/4 profile portrait of Adolf Hitler. It was produced by the propaganda offices of the German Government for the occupation of Russia and Ukraine during World War II. Circa 1943. Linen-backed. Poster size is 32 x 23 inches. The period black and white photograph shown here for reference only (not included), documents the existence of the poster and was taken by German Magnum photographer Herbert List ca. 1943. Professionally linen-backed. Excellent condition.
