WWII US CONCENTRATION CAMP LIBERATOR GROUP
Interesting grouping of an unknow American WWII soldier, who may also have been involved in liberating a concentration camp in Europe towards the end of the war. A group of personal items and his souvenirs collected in Germany during his service time overseas, such as a 1944 US Army Louisiana Maneuvers pennant to which his medal ribbons and medal are attached along with several German pins, thirteen sleeve insignia patches, two 2nd Cavalry Division pins. Also of interest are three candid photographs of dead prisoners of an unknown liberated concentration camp, the location could provide a clue to more information about this group. Further included are two booklets, 'The Bridge', by Carl Giessel, 31pp., n.d., and 'Armored Force: Armoraiders Pictoral Sketch Book', Albert Love, 64pp., n.d.
