HERMANN GORING SILVER LUFTWAFFE MEDAL
German WWII award for a member of the Luftwaffe, a table medal bearing the profile of Hermann Goring on the obverse, marked 'Der Oberbefehlshaber der Luftwaffe Reichsmarschall Goering' (The Supreme Commander of the Luftwaffe.) The reverse bears the Luftwaffe eagle insignia in the center, surrounded by the inscription 'Fur Ausgezeichnete Leistungen im Technischen Dienst Der Luftwaffe' (For excellent performance in the technical service of the Luftwaffe). 3 inches in diameter.
