DEUTSCHLAND ERWACHT PHOTO ALBUM
WWII German propaganda photo album DEUTSCHLAND ERWACHT - Werden, Kampf und Sieg der NSDAP (Germany awakens - Becoming, fight and victory of the NSDAP), 1933, Cigaretten-Bilderdienst, Altona-Bahrenfeld, book design by SS-Obersturmfuhrer Felix Albrecht, photography selection Heinrich Hoffman, Munich. 150 pages, 9.5 x 12.5 inches, with a frontispiece of Adolf Hitler, includes the panoramic foldout photograph of the consecration of the flags at Luitpoldhain (Nuremberg) in September 1933 during the Nuremberg party rally, the photo bears a handwritten caption 'Kaput!' by a third hand. Approximately 149 photographs are included, missing 76 cards. Photos have been applied with cello tape, some have come loose. Stains on the covers, hinge loose. Included is the scarce original order form for other cigarette albums published.
