One calendar head showing President Roosevelt and three newspapers detailing the end months of WWII. The newspapers are from April 13th, April 14th, and August 15th, 1945. The first newspaper releases the news that FDR has died and Truman has been sworn in as president. The second newspaper writes of Truman's first actions as president. The third newspaper writes about MacArthur sending an order of surrender to the Japanese. Approx. 22.75 x 16.5 inches.
