A Fine and Rare Parcel Gilt Silver Standing Cup with Cover, Germany, Probably 17th Century
Finely repoussed, chased and engraved.
Composed of a domed, lobed base, curled silver plaque, cup and lid, adorned with rocaille motifs throughout. With original engraved Hebrew inscription: "For Shabbat and Yom Tov". Unidentified marks.
Height: 32 cm (including lid)
Condition: Consistent with age.
