A Silver Gilt Natural Pearls and Gemstones Bridal Headdress Ornament, Turkmenistan, Bukhara, 19th Century
Description: Composed of hinged square elements in open work set with rose cut diamonds, each centered with different gemstones. Decorated with a border of graduated natural pearls and terminating in suspended droplet like tassels set with gemstones and natural pearls. Suspended on a gold weave string.
Length (without the string): 27 cm; total weight: 84 gr
Condition: The pearls missing from the top border torn. One element unhinged.
