A pencil on a paper drawing depicting two peasant women and a man. Signed "Ph Maliavine" and initialed 'F.M in the Cyrillic lower right. Philipp Andreevich Maliavin (1869-1940) - Russian artist who combined the modern, impressionist, and expressionist styles in his work. The artist is primarily known for his vivid and distinctive scenes of peasant life.
