A PAIR OF AUSTRIA HUNGARY GILT-SILVER CENTERPIECES, 1900
Pair of Neoclassical centerpieces, Austria, Hungary, circa 1900. The crystal vases are supported by cast silver stands richly decorated with gilding and repousse scrolled foliage motifs. The bulbous body is flanked by figural winged female sphinx busts. The stand is raised on four feet. Hallmarked with Diana's head facing right and '4,' and the maker's mark: 'A.B.'
