CAUCASIAN (ARMENIAN) DAGGER IN SILVER MOUNTS, 19TH C.
Rare large Armenian (Caucasian) dagger kama (kinjal) with Persian made hand forged blade with two Damascened fullers on each side of a wide pointy double edged blade with maker's marks. In its wooden scabbard covered with original black leather, silver mounted decorated with typical Armenian niello floral design. Horn grip with silver mounts with niello decoration. Ca. mid. 19th century.
