A PAIR OF MEISSEN GERMAN ROCOCO-STYLE PORCELAIN SWEETMEAT DISHES
Antique Meissen porcelain dishes used for the presentation and serving of sweetmeats. Each piece features a delicate bowl that is accented with molded flowers and handpainted insects following a garden motif. One bowl features a woman in a floral gown and the other a man in a floral outfit, both presenting the bowls on one knee. Intricate enameling and gilt throughout the pieces.
