Description: An 18th century Dutch Delft tobacco jar decorated with West Indies natives smoking pipes surrounding a central cartouche bearing the text Fune : Rape; inscribed on the reverse No. 6. Made by De Blompot (Pieter Verburg) between 1756 - 1789.
Condition: 15.75" H to the top of the socket. 12" H to the top of the brass lid. 8.75" Dia.Good condition; expected surface wear, minor chips.
