[MILANO - RISORGIMENTO] - L'Operaio, giornale democratico. Milan: Centenari, 1848. The complete collection of all the published material of this Milanese newspaper which was first printed on May 13, 1848 and continued to be published until August 2 the same year. Among the main collaborators are Caneva, Zini, Cernuschi and Mazzini (n. 20), Garibladi (n. 62), Mauro Macchi and Cattenao. 8vo and 4to (235 x 170mm) (285 x 200mm). Numbers 1-66 bound in 2 volumes: the first bound in leather spine decorated in gilt over marbled paper boards containing the articles published from the first number to June 10. The second with leather spine over silk boards includes the articles from June 13 to the end (n. 61 lacking one leaf, n. 65 included but unbound, some occasional spotting)
