19th century Jewish silver spice holder
A 19th century Jewish silver spice holder (for Besamim). Shaped as a bird seated on a branch. The branch stands on six leaves which are surrounded by a hexagonal base. Decorated with engravings. The bird is decorated with holes and engravings. The head of the bird opens up to allow the insertion of spices. Height: 10.5 cm. Bird's length: 7 cm. Not signed, silver tested.
