Algerian gold Shabbat lamp
An early 20th century Algerian Shabbat lamp, made of 9k gold. Pierced and engraved backplate and sidepieces with floral motifs, fish and a central Hamsa. The backplate is engraved with a Hebrew inscription: "Shabbat Kodesh" and a red gemstone. With two trays, one for the oil lamp (with two oil wick pans) and the other forms as a drip pan. Both are hanged on the backplate. Height: 15 cm. Width: 9.5 cm. Total weight: 144 grams. Gold hallmarks.
