R. Shimshon son of Yaakov Shimshon HaKohen Modon (1679-1727) was one of the Torah scholars of Mantua and a disciple of R. Yehuda Briel. He authored Kol Mussar (Mantua, 1725) and other works.
Censors' signatures on the verso of the last page.
