Four JNF Boxes – Map of Palestine
Four JNF boxes. [1930s – 1997].
Marked on the Palestine maps are areas which JNF redeemed and cultivated.
1. JNF box with map of Palestine without the Negev. Made by A. [Alfred] Salzmann, Jerusalem, [ca. second half of 1930s].
2. JNF box with map of Palestine which includes the Negev and the Gulf of Aqaba. Made by A. [Alfred] Salzmann, Jerusalem, [late 1940s or early 1950s].
3. JNF box with map of Israel, with the Negev and the city of Eilat. Made by Haim Muro, Jerusalem, [ca. 1950s]. The door locking the box is missing.
4. JNF box with a map of Israel and the slogan "Negev of Growth". No manufacturer of location indicated, [1997].
