Numerous illustrations and diagrams, including a portrait of the author at the age of 48 on the verso of the title page. A detailed illustration of the human body including the internal organs, paralleling it to a multi-story building, is featured on p. 106a. Approbation by R. David Oppenheim and Venetian rabbis. Poems in praise of the author and book. Incomplete copy. [6], 90, [1 blank leaf], 93-156, [1] leaf. Lacking 2 leaves: leaf 92 - title page of Part II, and leaf 157 of the errata. 20 cm. Fair condition. Stains. Traces of past dampness and dampstains. Worming. Tears and damage to title page and other leaves, primarily to first leaves and last leaves, some repaired with adhesive tape. Leaves trimmed affecting edge of text, including title page (and portrait on verso) and leaf 106 with the illustration. New binding.
