Two Medals - Jewish Institutions in Holland, 19th Century
1. Bronze medal on behalf of the "High Commission for Jewish Affairs", the organizational body of Holland's Jews. Holland, 1836.
Obverse: wreath encircled by the legend "Toegewezen foor de Hoofd-Commissie tot de Zaken der Israëliten" [Dutch: "Bestowed by the High Commission for Jewish Affairs"]. Reverse: tree, column with a Star of David at its base, the Tablets of the Law, a lion holding an emblem, and more. Encircled by the legend "Koninklyke Besluiten van 8 Maart 1836 No. 23 en 29 April 1836 No. 84". Signed - "I.P. Schouberg".

2. Bronze medal, by Jacques Wiener, honoring M.J. Van Gigch, on the occasion of his contribution to the founding of a Jewish old folks' home in The Hague, 1841.
Obverse: the old folks' home, the Hebrew legend "Oasis of peace for the elderly" and the legend "Ingewyd den XXVI Augustus MDCCCXXXXI". Reverse: Dedication legends in Dutch.
