Tikunei HaZohar, Zhitomir 1865. Printed by Rabbi Chanina Lipa and Rabbi Yehoshua Heshel Shapira. An approbation by Rebbe Aharon of Chernobyl (mechutan of Rabbi Yehoshua Heshel) appears at the beginning of the book, praising the printers and this elegant edition and their efforts to proofread the book for mistakes "As they have merited (to receive) from their fathers and have continued their legacy". The approbation ends with a blessing for "long and good years, and G-d should bless them in spiritual and material matters, with children, life and plentitude".
[2], 182 leaves. 22 cm. High-quality paper, overall good condition. Tears to title page. Signatures and inscriptions in Oriental handwriting, "Ya'akov". Adorned, original leather binding, with damages.
