Hanging Memorial Lamp for the Synagogue – Morocco, 1907 – Rabbi Meir Ba’al Haness
Memorial lamp for the synagogue (Kas / Kas Des-s’il). Morocco, [early 20th century]. Dedication from 1907. Cut brass. Cut decoration with dense geometric and vegetal patterns. Dedication appears on three bands: “in honor of Rabbi Meir Ba’al Haness….”. Length: 30 cm., max. width 26 cm. No glass cup. Damages to attachment of chains to lamp.
