Collection of requests for loans and promissory notes, from Chasdei Yitzchak Organization (named for Rabbi Yehuda Yitzchak Sender) – organization geared to providing free loans and assisting the needy and ill. Jerusalem, 1970s. Includes 17 requests for loans attached to promissory notes, 28 promissory notes, some made out to the organization. Some requests and notes are submitted by Jerusalem yeshivot and cheiders. Requests for assistance in purchasing dowry, purchasing apartment, or purchasing set of Gemara for the home.
Signatures of applicants and guarantors include well-known rabbinic and community figures such as Rabbi Israel Ya'akov Fischer, Rabbi Yehuda Tzadka, Rabbi Baruch Shimon Schneurssohn, Rabbi Bentzion Bruk, Rabbi Tzvi Peli, Rabbi Avraham No'ach Garbuz, Rabbi Shalom Cohen, Rabbi Yosef Chaim Kopshitz, Rabbi Shmuel Aurbach, Rabbi Moshe HAlbestam, Rabbi Chaim Kimmel, Rabbi Mordechai Chevroni, Rabbi Avraham Ya'akov Zalaznik, and Rabbi Moshe Shimon Weintraub.
