Prayer obligation, proclamation by the Israel Chief Rabbinate to pray for the wellbeing and health of the Baron Rothschild. Jerusalem, [1930's].
“We have received a telegraphic notice from Paris, that the honorable elderly philanthropist founder of the settlement… Rabbi Binyamin… De Rothschild is seriously ill, may G-D have mercy upon him…”. Urgent plea to the residents of Israel and especially of Jerusalem to pray for his complete and speedy recovery.
At the bottom a stamp of Rabbi “Avraham Yitzchak Ha’Cohen Kook, Chief Rabbi of Israel”.
