Brigadier General Henry Moses Judah (1821-66) Graduated West Point Class of 1843. Served in Mexican War leading his company storming the city of Monterey. At the outbreak of the Civil War he became colonel of the 4th California Infantry. He then served in the US Volunteers General Staff as Brigadier General. He led unsuccessful pursuit of Confederate General John Hunt Morgan.
