***Auction Highlight*** 1847-p Gold Liberty Quarter Eagle $2 1/2 Graded Select Unc By USCG. Incredibly scarce Issue. Per PCGS only 125 Survive in all grades and a mere 12 in uncirculated condition. This example has very reflective fields and a pleasing bright yellow golden coloring. It is tied for 3rd finest Known, with one having graded ms64, which has never come to auction but which is listed as trending $22,500, and a lone ms63 which sold at auction in 2018 for $14,494.
