***Auction Highlight*** 1794 Liberty Cap Head of '95 S-70 Flowing Hair large cent 1c Graded Choice AU/BU Slider By USCG. Up for Auction is an Ultra Rare 1794 Head of 1795 Flowing Hair Liberty Cap Large Cent, Variety S-70. The S-70 is an Ultra Rare Variety with only 15 ever Certified by PCGS as the S-70. Only 2 examples have Graded Finer (Possibly the same coin, as neither has ever gone to auction) This example is Tied for 3rd Finest Known! I will further add that the highest grade example to have EVER gone to auction was an au53 in 2017. This coin will be the finest example to ever be sold at auction.! To quote Ron Guth of PCGS “The Sheldon 70, 1794 Large Cents in High AU and Mint State are exceedingly rare. The finest is the PCGS MS62BN example from the Walt Husak Collection, sold in 2008 by Heritage for $32,200. Breen lists an additional MS60 example, below which the Condition Census drops to EF. This variety features an interesting die crack that develops on the upper right obverse and runs from the rim., between the letters T and Y, and into Liberty's forehead, across her eyebrow and down to the left of her eye. The latest states of the die show this crack plus numerous clashmarks.” Trends on this coin are au58 $20,000 au55 $18,500 A Key Date's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation
